The End-Of-Summer-Hummer is one of the province's best regattas, attracting sailors from BC and Saskatchewan, for some gear busting winds, great racing, and extreme  fun. If you can only make one regatta, this is the one.

The GLSC has hosted the Alberta Cup since 1999. This two-day, open keelboat regatta attracts racers of all levels of experience from around the province and beyond. The Alberta Cup is held the third or fourth weekend of September when strong winds can be expected to make for some exciting races. The regatta features a competitors' reception Friday night, a banquet dinner Saturday night, and an awards ceremony on Sunday.
